Ouch!
I fitted a bum scoosher yesteray. Like a DIY bidet, as used by asian/indonesian types. I think I should have fitted a pressure reducing valve though. I piped it all up nicely in chrome, even finding myself a chrome backplate elbow for it, shiny! When I turned the supply on and tested the head(like a shower head with a “trigger” on it), pointing it into the WC pan, it almost blew the trap out! That’s some fast icy cold water jetting onto your nether regions. Ouch!
I did warn the guy, who was having it fitted for his wife’s(an indonesian herself) family who are visiting and think that western bog-roll ways are disgusting, that it only needed turning on slowly and a little bit to be effective. He reckons he doesn’t care as he’s not using it anyhow!
Reminding him about it as I left, so he could pass it on to his missus he replied, “No, I want her to find that out herself!”
Now that’s a real stupid brave hard man!

I like the new blog layout. I suppose when you fit some multiple manifold for the new radiant “in-floor heat pipes that might show off the technical challenges plumbing can offer too.

A still might be an idea for a project actually.
The new layout is a blogger standard one(Denim) with an image behind the Title text and some colours messed about with. I got the image off this wordpress layout which I have in my other blogs theme switcher.
I also switched to virtual domain publishing on this one, meaning it’s address is plumbing.the-kid.org but that resolves to a blogger.com host. so this site should still be around even when my main site dies, again, lol.
